Default Powders for Muscle gain

Been going to the gym for like 2 years now and got quite muscly. But now got to the stage where i want to get bigger with powders.. been to GNC? i think spoke to a bloke in there who was very helpful and he has reccomend a muscle gain powder which is like whey protien but has extra vits and mins in it to help the muscle gain processs.

Has anyone gone from just doing weights to using these types of powders? Big increase quickly? or does it do the job but just over a few months? im not looking to get big quick... just like going to the gym 4-5 times a week ect, getting big that way.

You don't need ultra expensive protein powders, just get some Nutrisport 90+ for £15 or something and then take a multi-vitamin and omega 3 supplement as well, will probably work out cheaper mate.

Hia,

I know a fait bit about nutrition and such, family members have been in the trader for eons. myprotein.co.uk is your best source for good value for money, also...protein powders are only effective if used with a stable week in-week out approach to eating at least 5 protein full meals a day. To put mega size on, you need to change your training anyway, serious weight with few reps to failure is the way

You'll not notice uber gains simply from using supplements, as that's all they are, an addition to real food.

Make sure to find out what protein intake you need each day and back it up with amino acids and proper creatine that you take with a glucose based drink thats tailored for creatine. Plenty online about it.

if you were already getting enough protein from your diet you won't notice a huge difference. if you weren't getting much protein from your diet you'll notice some nice improvements is muscle building and recovery

try to get about 40 grams of protein with every meal, whether it be just from food or with the aid of supplements ie protein powders

whey protein from myprotein is good. or you could spend a bit more and get something like phd pharma whey which contains more better quality amino acids etc

Getting bigger mate is all about eating the right stuff at the right times. Supplements will help i use an all in one with creatine in etc but you can get ones just for mass which will give you a gut if you try and use that and eat lots.

It all depends on what your trying to achieve if you want to stay lean then stay away from weight gain and get an all in one. To put size on quickly you have to bulk up then lose the fat. There are so many ways and methods and all depends on age and your frame.
