Could just make your own protein bars then can get everything spot on what you're after? Probably work out cheaper too

Lacey I recommend the ones from my protein, but also if you fancy something different time to time boots sell some atkins range of snacks etc.
These are obviously very low in sugar, normally located near the sandwiches etc so maybe have a look there!
Heres an example of the range that should suit yourself...
mainly the choc peanut bar (1.1g sugar)

Surely if your producing too much insulin when you eat, ANY type of carb is going to spike it to levels that will cause hypos?
Id personally go on a keto diet (google it). Basically just proteins and fats. This diet might work even better for you since bodybuilders actually use insulin to reach ketosis faster.
Then Id get a bg meter from boots etc. Keep an eye on your glucose levels with a few meals and see how your body reacts. Take a reading before your meal and every 15 mins up to an hour after. Then this will show you how your body is reacting to each meal, then its simply trial and error untill you find a diet that best suits you!

He cant carb up though. But whats your carb cycle plan. Carb meal every 36th meal etc? What do you carb up with?
I think Im going to try alternate day fasting this cut.
But to answer the original question look at Phd diet whey bars
http://monstersupplements.com/store/...r-bars%29.html
Ive tried them, arnt the nicest tasting but not too bad and meet your requirements.

Just seen these replies.
Thanks guys.
Since changing my diet things are going better. Before I was treating my hypos with sugar, as is normal when someone has a hypo. In actual fact this was having an adverse effect as I was already producing too much insulin the extra sugar I took to combat the hypo actually forced me to produce even more insulin so my sugars wouldn't come up.
The new plan was to slow down the absorption by having complex carbs and protein... working well so far.
Before I was having 3 or 4 hypos a day. Now I may only have 1 a week.
Much improved. Matt I tried those bars you suggested, they are useful to keep with me. Work have been fairly understanding though so I am allowed to sneak off whenever its quiet for a quick bite to eat.
