Default VTR Emissions MOT fail

Hi all,

My VTR failed its MOT yesterday I've attatched the sheet and the readings.

I've had an engine light for the whole time i owned the car, I changed one of the lambda sensors that was cut (the one after the cat). To reslove this issue would I need to change the other sensor or get a new cat or both, just need to work out how much it's going to cost to resolve.

Many thanks

Looks like both the cat and the front lambda aren't working.
If the lambda was working it should be within range, yet it's lean at idle and rich at fast idle, suggesting that it's not 'closed loop' (lambda working)

It could be in open loop because of a fault though.

If the cat was working then you would expect CO to be zero when the mixture is lean; so the test where lambda is 1.1 the CO should be zero.

Unfortunately, it looks like you're going to pay the price for driving around with the light on for so long.
