Default Head unit

My head unit all of a sudden stops working, It says its playing but there is no music at all coming through the speakers

I checked all the wiring and even checked if it was on mute, but everything in intact ... Anyone here could help me?

Try disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it the old turn it off and back on again. See if it resets the HU settings. If not post back on here and il think of something else or someone else will be able to help.

Tried it, I checked all my wires, I even took off my sub/amp because I thought it was causing it ... Now my amp doesnt even switch on :O

I think I might have to buy a new head unit :/!

my dvd player was doing this for a while but its sorted itself out now ive no idea why it did it but ihave a mobile media box with a fan so gave that some clearence and it worked ever since what about when you start the car does it work and then cut out later on? or just not work full stop?

Well before buying a new headunit cant you borrow one of a mate instead of maybe wasting money. Are your speakers of the hu or amp? as mine cut out once but mines all of the amp and the remote had shorted out.

Well it shows my head unit is working and playing the songs etc but there is NO sound coming out of the door speakers what so ever

I think I might have to buy a new head unit to be honest, My door speakers are alpine D series and are connected to the head unit
