Car looks better now its had the bonnet wrapped.
cheers mate ye gunna have to get them sorted now, just pissed off that ive paid him to do them and theyve turned out like this.

Cheers about the bonnet mate does look better than before.
Ye i paid a lad from off here who was recommended and this is how theyve turned out.
Pissed that ive paid him and now ive got to either pay someone else again to do them or buy the stuff myself and do them myself.
Basically paying for them doing twice.

He should give you a refund mate

Contact him, advise that you want it sorted out properly or a refund

I am 99% sure he hasn't even primered them
If he has, its the wrong type of primer

agree with you there mate if you look at the picture of the coilpack cover thats been sprayed you can see it peeling off and you can tell no primers been put on thats why its not sticking to it.

That's not necessarily correct most plastic primers used in the trade are transparent so he could of used one. I would say its more likely the wrong primer for the plastics that your covers are made of. That or they have been sprayed and not enough flash off time to let the primer cure before applying the base coat.

Have you asked him to re do them again?
Accepted their is something wrong there and may be a general mistake. Mark is a good guy and there are a few of us on this site who have had bits and bobs done by him. Im sure he isnt trying to pull a quick one, especially when he is trying to start his business up and get more custom through the site.
My bits have been ok so maybe it was just a primer problem or something silly like that.

Its simply not had anywhere near the amount of time needed to properly dry, hense the paint is condensing on the top layers and pulling off the underlayers bit by bit, or vice versa. Also, it does look like No primer has been used, as said above really, jet wash with a Air Compressed gun to get all of it off and start Fresh.

Done the odd bit of spraying myself before but didn't want to do these as the coil pack is hard to get into the short gaps with the spray so either gunna have to strip them and leave them black or get a proper bodyshop to do them.

Ok been thinking about the covers and I'm unsure of what to do.
Should I:

:Get the covers sprayed again in same colour

:get some chrome covers

: or get carbon fibre covers?

What's your thoughts guys

looking good shame about the covers turning out the way they have, love the bonnet.
They looked so nice sprayed up, i would be tempted to get them re done as opposed to chrome, but depends on cost, the cf wrap could work well with the bonnet and possibly the cheapest?

Well spoke to Matt about the covers and he believes it to be a problem with the supplier who he purchased the primer off so after speaking with him he is mote than happy to supply the covers and re spray them again for me so can't really so fairer than that.
