not sure wat tyres r the best to put on my alloys. was hopin if any of u guys wud have any idea which ones are the best?

I run Falkens at the min and can't really fault them good all round tyre for the money. Dont rate the t1-rs toyos much i thought they were wank in the wet. If you go for toyos i would go for r888's me cousin runs them on hiss tt powered 500 hp clio

Do you guys know/understand the 'treadwear' figure on the tyres tyrewall. The higher the number the harder the compound and hence wear rate. Toyo Proxes are 290 if i remember right, Khumo excasta (which ive got on mine) are quite hard at 360, and stuff like 888's are way down at 150 0r 160, ie very soft.

If grip/softness is your bag, look at this figure, it also gives you an idea how long they may last.
