Default An air filter question, not the usual question...

Ok i have an air filter sitting around that came off a mk2 golf gti 8v, i was wondering if it would work on my mk1 97 vtr?

If it doesnt im not too bothered but seems pointless gettin rid of this to get another if it will work.

it should fit you would just require the right air pipe adaptor as it is universal. I would get a raceland instead tho

you will never get performance from universal mate, that is my opinion. But for sound wise the raceland is tops and performance wise to. Stick that in uni in till you got the money for raceland, i shall be ordering one next week only 102 quid
