hi there my vts cuts out sometimes and the revs drop down nearly everytime i come too a stop but when i park up and leave it too run it hardly ever happens any advice its a bit annoyin cheers

i'd start with cleaning your icv, remove it and use some carb cleaner on it

As iSlayeR, states clean the icv. This also sounds like it could be the MAP sensor, but get a diagnosic before changing this sensor as its a bit on the expensive side.

is the revs bouncing ?

I take it that you are driving small distances could be the sensor kicking in (maybe the engine is overheating)
