True.
See how the next week or so goes with these issues. If mine doesn't get any problems i'll be over the moon.
There was a 4.50 patch on the PS3 that bricked some PS3's. (did worry about my 3/4yr old 250gb slim during) I updated my 6yr old 40gb PS3 last week and it randomly died. I thought it bricked it tbh. Luckily it was the hardrive.

quite afew guys on the net getting hit with it. Feel for them, especially the ones who queued up for midnight launches.
Couple of people have reported getting minor shocks on power up. Dunno if its true though tbf.
