Pretty sure you would have got an officers badge number and name to deal with though.
If not you could have just called Citizens Advice.

Begs the question why anyone would buy a half cage when the shipping is that much. Surely it would be cheaper to get one made or buy one in the country where he lives?

Having one made in the same specifications would end up being more expensive. That's why i bought this one.
I'll give them a call tommorow when you get me the number.

Still want to have two things explained.
- Why did you give me your own number when i asked for the couriers number?
- Why does someone message me he bought the cage of you last saturday?
Both things don't make any kind of sense to me.

If the number is a misunderstanding. Why do you say it's on a piece of paper somewhere?
Adding everything up, it get's weirder with the minute.

if someone else apparently bought it, why not ask them for a photo of it?
would solve this pretty quickly tbh.

What's the contact number for the guy that collected the cage and was supposed to deliver it? I'm sure the sax-p investigators can dig up some information about the so called dodgy courier.
A few things don't quite add up here but to be honest at the end of the day Martyn is out of pocket by £350 and should not have to be paid back in instalments. Can you not use your insurance money you have ticked aside to repay him Jay?
Hopefully there is a good outcome for both parties.
