had a really bad experience over the weekend. i went to a mates party and met some of his other mates. everyone was laughing and joking (as you normally do at parties) and I was just sat there like a lemon and hardly said anything. I could tell my mates friends were thinking ''this guy is a weirdo'' They were essex lads / cocky gesszers and were really loud and outgoing and I just sat there like a plum. : - (

try and think of stuff to say etc
get involved in conversations, even just laugh at the jokes people are cracking on about (even if they arnt funny)
get a few beers down you if that helps?
wouldnt advise the drugs as above if you are of a nervous tendency
why not take a prop with you to party's
beer bong etc, allways a laugh and gets you involved with new people

People have told him all this sort of shit before... he says he doenst want to drink etc to be confident yet moans constantly about it. He's made multiple threads about the same problem yet still hasn't solved it.
Serious ASW tbh imo.

Get a job where you can improve your confidence. I use to be really shy and then I was 18 I went to Malia for 6 months on my own and really come out of myself. I am so much more confident and it has helped me get the job I am currently in and te GF i live with.
