Default Saxo vtr in black. What's it worth?

Hi guys I have a citroën saxo vtr. 54000 miles on the clock. 2002 plate. It's has been lowered and has 16inch alloys on it. They are team dynamic pro 1.2s. Iv had it for 8 years and has been looked after.

12 months mot. What's it worth.

Thanks.

£500 if you're lucky. Can seriously buy vtr's T the auctions for under 300 all day long.

yes... but can only go up in price. we used to buy mk1&2 escorts and mini's for £50, stick 'em in a ditch and buy another only 20 years ago. they were so common no one ever thought they would be worth anything, otherwise we would have bought 100's and not needed a pension!

Dogs are, or if they’re being sold through a facebook group. On eBay, Gumtree, Pistonheads etc. a good condition, reasonable mileage VTR with MOT is closer to a grand. A VTS is more like £1.5k.

Should get close to a grand for mine then. Only done 54000.covered 8000 miles in 8 years. Spose my question is do I make it look standard by buying original alloys?

Have a look on eBay and Gumtree mate and price it how you see fit. Don’t listen to the Facebook groups though, everyone just assumes rock bottom.

Depending on where you’re based, I have some standard VTR alloys on good tyres.

my mate paid £1200 for a mk1 VTR, which seem to command a higher price. It was in really good nick on an S-plate, with VTS wheels. Less than 50k and totally rust free. All depends on condition.

Ken I sold a VTS for £250, guy bought it to take the front chassis leg out to put it in his GTi and do a mint resto. that's how good the VTS was.

Great donor cars for repairing the ones worth keeping
