Posi blue vtr turbo
It's about time I put this in one place, and hopefully will update as and when things happen, may be slow progress as it's taken me nearly 10 years to get it to this point lol.
Brief spec as it stands now is
Engine
Stock 90hp bottom end
1.9mm head gasket (dropping me to 9.1-1 /9-1)
Roller rocker head with piper 285 cam and I flowed the head some years ago(not really ported just cleaned cast and some smoothing.
Piper cam pully
Piper Valve springs
Lightweight drive pulleys
Light weight billet flywheel
Standard valeo clutch that last from new 1500 mile if that (helix 6 puk to go in)
Bosch 350cc injectors
Walbro oe replacement pump
Front mount intercooler with 57mm hard pipe
Ali rad (vtr size) with biggest fan I could fit infront of it
Oil cooler
Gt17 turbo (was a recon)
Miltek manifold and downpipe
Saxsport exhaust
106 rally's inlet plenum with my vtr throttle body that has been opened up
And to control fuel and boost I am using a emu det3 which controls a mac boost solonoid and fueling independently and piggybacks ignition.
Prob missed something but that's a general summary,
The chassis
Top and bottom strut braces
B8 grp n spec dampers with my old spax 35mm springs
Spax adjustable rear shocks
Grp n engine mounts to the left and right but a power flex for lower engine mount
Polybushes in front wishbones
Team dynamics 1.2 wheels with ad08r tyres
Brembo 406 front 4 pot brakes with brembo pads and discs
Brembo standard rear discs and pads
About all I can remember really,
It has been nearly a year since the turbo conversion and all has been well.
