Default Dash bars

So I removed the dash to ditch all the sound deadening and unnecessary wiring, but can't decide if I need to put the metal dash bars back in. They seem like a good weight saver to leave out and I'm getting a full cage for strength.
Thoughts...

the 2 small bars that go from the floor to the steering column and from the column to the A pillar are supports to stop flex from the steering column. You will need them fitted unless you are going to brace the column off the cage
