Shit sorry mate missed your reply. Yes it will be painted.... after the ring because I dont want to paint it and then go drilling brackets etc out once im home which will then wreck the paintwork.

of course....Not. Keeping it semi practical otherwise it will just piss me off tbh. Me & dad have come up with a smart idea for easy removable door bars for the cage as well
No point in having them in for a nice sunday drive, or the drive to the ring. But then once at the ring or a track day, wack them on, simples....

old FD vs new one
Newer 9 ball bearing type bearing replacing the older type bearing
And finally the mango eyeing up its new prey lol
So the gearbox is all done, dads just putting the bits and bobs back together (like the procomp etc) today.
Cage is due to arrive tomorrow and will be going for fitting asap. Seat bars will also be welded in so I can ditch the subframes.
Along with that i got some cobra Alu lightweight sidemounts from Scott (thanks mate) to go with my cobra seats.
And a couple of 5th point harness spreader plates to be welded to the floor at the same time as the cage to connect the 5th point of my harnesses to.

The gearbox looks very tidy. You'll love the difference the higher FD makes.
