Never been a fan of tracktime at shows 99% of the people on track havent got a clue and think its banger racing..

Well the MOT went well, the guy I used was awesome, he tightened loads off odds and ends up and even bent the bracket back out on the manifold and fitted the bolt to hold it onto the gearbox as it had been bent out of the way!?!?
I had a slight split in a c.v boot but apart from that it rocked through!
It was nice to get back out in it, it wasn't as rattly as I expected it to be, it handles so well though, I'm in love with 888s
Sadly it made my BM look like a milkfloat as it left me on the straights and destroyed me on the corners!!!

Well it's been 3 weeks since the MOT and I've had a few decent runs out and about in the car, yesterday D4MJT fitted a Magnex system I sourced and the volume is down by about half!!
The old one may have been mild steel...
It's also now got FloFlex exhaust hangers on it.
I put my morettes on too and got the biggest intake I could get, I need to source an 80-70mm silicon elbow so at present I'm running some ghetto ducting

Well, the car has been sat for about a week due to me not wanting to break it pre FCS, but I took it for a little run yesterday, looks like I need to seal my sunroof or clear the drains!
Benwh555 has also made me a super low frame for my drivers seat, that should arrive this week, get it fitted on Saturday!
I'd also been looking into a camera for track, I have trackcam for the iPhone but it's not fixed focus, so it keeps focusing on the windscreen!
The standard iPhone video can be fixed though, which is jazzy, also I bought Harry's Laptimer Pro for like £14, this will export vid, export gps data, and it combine the two!
Looks like I'll be driving to FCS with a single album on the iPhone like as my 16gber doesn't have much room left for video
Anyway, Harry's is good, it detects corners and straights and shows you your peak speed on each corner or straight. It also has 2 Donington layouts already loaded into it!
Basically the output is like this, although the GMeter is wrong, I am getting beasted by a micro though!

Liking the harrys lap timer mate, I have a similar one calle aLapTimer for my HTC, pretty much the same thing from what I can see but mine doesn't have a very easy way to export as a full video although I believe the developer is working on it for it's next update.
Looks good though so far. Make sure you come and say hi at FCS
