Another week, another trip down south with work. And another bargain purchase
Managed to pick up a full BTB exhaust. This will now mate up nicely with the BTB manifold I already had. Includes the decat box as well, meaning I dont have to bugger about with getting one made to match the exhaust I was going to use.
Should also be ordering the fans to use with the radiator/cooler soon as well, and a clutch plate from John at GMC. Then should finally be able to start getting things fitted on the shell.
Old exhaust (2.5" silenced system with Magnex style 3.5" tailpipe) and my old Pace alloy radiator will be up for sale shortly

They give good odds lol Could make someone very rich
Honest truth, nothings happening right now. House is priority at the minute, and then I'm off on holiday. However, house nearly finished now (for a few months anyway until I attack the garden), so going to get a few weekends on the car now its light in an evening. Still stockpiling bits and pieces ready for the rebuild

No pic update.
Have now received a pair of 9" fans for use with the new i/c & radiator setup, so thats pretty much everything on the cooling side sorted now.
Also got a load of heat wrap to cover the new BTB exhaust in, then thats ready to be fitted.
Now got the new version of GMC's supercharger bracket with the belt auto-tensioner as well. Currently chrome plated, but I'll probably have it shot blasted and powder coater black to match the rest of my engine.
Eyeing up a 6 paddle clutch plate too. Finally got round to checking if the cheapo Helix clutch I bought a while back matches/will fit my flywheel - it does, so happy days Means I dont have to buy a complete clutch, just the friction plate. So hopefully will sort that this week, then think engine can be fitted! Got a holiday first though, so will have to wait couple weeks for that.
I know I keep saying it, but I'm desperate to get going on this now and finally get it built and on the road.

its dishartening that lots of the other boosted projects have been abandoned. However, the ones that are working look fun, and it smaking me miss mine!

well, bought a clutch plate, so thats pretty much everything needed. Clutch should arrive just before I go away on holiday, so I can crack on when I get home.

yeah its taken quite a while Connor! Get there soon enough though.
Other minor update - picking up a 106 bonnet to butcher for the mounts for the hydraulic lifters so I can get rid of the standard bonnet prop. Already had the lower mountings welded onto the strut tops when the car was resprayed.
