Did the other seat tonight and then fitted them. Might have to adjust the drivers side slightly to get a touch closer to the wheel, so Ill sort that when its not pissing it down!

The foam isn't as forgiving as the corbeaus but they are far more comfortable as the side bolsters arent pinching my back and the rake of the rear of the seat supports my back better so I'm happy with them, plus they are a good deal smaller and lighter so theres some more room in the cabin. However as its not rained over the past few weeks, I only discovered the sunroof isn't up against the seal at the front so I got soaked by a mini waterfall when reversing the car. Have to get the caulking gun and sealant out again

Just redrilled the seat mounts on the frames so its a good 2/3 inches further forward now and more centralised in relation to the pedals. Perfect driving position now, and its cost me bugger all to modify these subframes.
New seats in and I'm done for now so I've got the bank holiday free! Time for a few beers!

My dad dropped me some of this down tonight:
Footwells full of water and got another soaking moving the car, so I sealed the sunroof up and got some friendly bricks in on the job to weight it down. Im not bothered if it doesn't open again now - i'll plate it in future but I cant be doing with wet seats and floors.

Seats look nice, i've always liked them since I was a kid. People slate them but i think they are one of the most comfortable I'v ever sat in!
Also nice job the the sunroof haha
Ps get some paint on that floor will tidy the inside up massively!

Cheers mate, this ones got some pretty bad laquer issues on the paint and plenty of scratches. When I get some spare cash I'll get some wings and bonnet for it

Tiger seal is a nightmare, once you've got the gummy stuff off the black dye from it gets ingrained . Kinda glad my meeting at works been cancelled today, I've got filthy hands like you'd find on a smack head
Acid test tonight when I get in - its properly chucking it down with rain here, fingers crossed for a dry interior

My dad got the tigerseal for me, so effectively it cost me £0.
And what sparco seats?
I cant see whats wrong with the cobra clubman, its a popular seat and is small and fits. Only thing that I'd change is the red to black on them but I got them cheap so its not a big concern
