Default S1 106 Rallye

Just got this at the weekend

swapped it for my saxo vtr....still can't decide whos better off from this deal?
75k, immaculate rust free car with quite abit of work gone into it, but was a cat c

for a totally stock....apart from the shocking wheels

s1 rallye

boot floor and under the drivers seat have been welded (by a moron by the looks of it!)
little bit behind a headlight, think it needs a drive shaft, 12mot,6tax

I think after a good clean up of the engine bay and interior and exterior, replace all the decals and just in general clean it up you have a nice little car

So much love for these cars mate - I'd definitely say you got the better deal if you did a direct swap

As others have said - I'd just give the car some thorough cleaning... take off the decals, machine the paint, fit new decals, new reg plates, S2 steels as you've bought them and tidy up the engine bay.

Thinking about it I seem to recognise that plate from somewhere... it may be on the same dealer 'plate' block as other Rallye's but not sure.

Really want an S1 Rallye now haha

Rallye will be much better value in the long run especially if you are keeping it original & tidying it up. Plenty of S1 Rallyes still about but very very few original ones, most have been 16v nowadays.

Still waiting on the air box thanks to some dodgy dealer on the rallyeregister
also still waiting for a set of rallye steels I ordered from "pugplus" Monday the 18th! I've heard hes abit of a prick but this service is ridiculous, told they were sent out on the 20th 24hour delivery, then the 26th, and now today (the 28th)!!!

Advise anyone to avoid him now selling as georgiegarn on ebay
