Default Posting numberplates in the Spotted forum

Saw this on another forum and thought maybe we should have something similar on Sax-P as a sticky in the 'Have you been spotted' forum?

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=40588

I've seen on a few occasions people are posting full registrations of cars they have spotted... you never know who might be watching and with all the car identity cloning / car crime etc going on these days, I personally wouldn't like it if my reg was posted on a public forum.

I expect this is moderated anyway, but maybe a sticky would stop it happening in the first place?

Good idea or not?

Why don't they just make the spotted forum private to experienced members of their community?

i understand it on expensive cars, but on a saxo i think its pointless, if someones going out there way to clone a saxo then they really arent the cleverest of theives stealing something that is worth bout 2k
