Winge time....
This'll probably get moaned about but nevermind...
I've noticed that there seems (in my opinion) a lot of threads being unnecessarily locked. Now i appreciate the fact there a some new minimods which i feel this site has been crying out for for a while, especially as certain members (leckie and Jaybiss for example) are on regularly when mods perhaps are unable to monitor the forum such as during the working day.
On the otherhand there have been many threads recently that have quite rightly been locked before things got stupidly out of hand, which is cool
I mean this in the nicest possible way but maybe some minimods/mods are getting a bit of maybe 'itchy fingers' and are all too keen to lay down some power
just an observation that's all
this'll probs get locked an all...

well they got locked so I couldnt complain in them.
no honestly its not a massive winge or anything like that. i just think some threads have been locked where it was probably a little unnecessary.

maybe some people should be given the power to "unlock" threads

The picture thread was a bag of toss and quite rightly deleted.

I see where you're coming from Ads and I do agree with you that one or two of the threads maybe didn't need to be locked. But on the other side of it I can see why they were locked.
On the whole though I think the RMOs are doing a great job so far.

yep defo agree on that, as i say in my first post, they've filled a void when the mods are away. saxp has grown like a mofo over the last few years so i can understand that it there's been an increasing burden on you guys' shoulders.

i agree with Jay, need some link to posts you think were locked "before they go out of hand" otherwise we can't identify the problem next time!

Fair play to say it ads.
Maybe some have been locked faunirly, but then that always happens. It is inevitable that with more mods more things are likely to be picked up on that may have otherwised slipped. e.g. vipers constant spam
When starting off as a mod it takes a little while to get a grasp of the buttons and work out your right from left. With time I think that things will settle down a little and you will not feel the same way.
I think the RMOs are doing a great job with there new toys and every action they have taken can be justified. Its the internet don't forget... big brother is watching you.
