Had to really look back to see when I had last updated this...
All knowing im now working at Alive Tuning the dyno cell is now ready!
After spending a few hrs on the rollers with the car it now produces 257bhp/277nm. not a massive amount but happy to welcome in a few more ponies.

Back in Dec I bought a F/G kit from RoCAR (service was shit, poor contact, poor replys to emails, deny receiving voicemails, took 3 months to arrive after payment).
The kit is a +25mm arch extension... ive had a few people suggest the satchel suspension may be being fitted, its not.
My car does run **mm wider track than standard. last year I had been slicing rear tyres so the extra width from the arches is welcome + a lighter panel.
Spending quite a few hrs here to fit the front and rear wings... Simon with me as usual lending his hands.
The kit fits ok. not great, quite gappy in places but shape wise its fine. shes not a show piece.

So... with the arches fitted, I had to call on Lewis from Premium Wraps & Tints.
Now the car wrapped and ready for a test day...

Arrive at the circuit with the gang (Vickie and Si).
Pop up the tent, sign on and away we go
First session breaking in a new set of Pirelli Trofeo R tyres... taking it steady, the brakes are very powerful.
Session 2 the car feels very powerful but its clear to say the tracking geometry had not been set since a few light changes with some refreshed bushes. keeping it planted even in a straight line requires some attention!
I return to the paddock to check the car over, cv boot split
Changed for a new shaft and back out but this time its after lunch.
Session 3 afternoon, im pretty much being lapped by everything. not feeling happy knowing geo is shite I use the time regardless to get some seat time.
Returned home, unhappy looking at my footage there was at best a 1:47.500 on a mostly dry lap at Cadwell.
I didn't sleep a wink. first thing the next day I took the car for alignment. 10deg toe out!!!
Soon corrected this to where I want it, booked onto a Javelin trackday next opportunity the following Thursday.

Again arrive at the track with a better prepared car...
Sighting laps I cant tell if there is an improvement and the session after that I am breaking in yet another set of new tyres for the season.
On track when I feel the tyres are right I start to lean on them. Down the straights my speedo looking good and the car is much better, almost like the 2015 version but not quite (tyre difference)...
Its also great to have my tyre sponsor come and say hello Tony Briggs from Kingsway Tyres Immingham...
He was happy, didn't expect a saxo to move so quickly
