Suggestion: Split General Chat
I've noticed that there are relationship threads, bigbrother threads, lolpostcount threads, all intermixed with "what shall i do with my car", i brought this threads, megane sport threads, fiesta threads etc.
Was suggesting for the General Forums section:
Motoring Chat (post count enabled)
Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Any wheels by anyone general discussion.
Off-Topic Chat/General Chat (post count removed)
Discuss anything (within reason) and play nice with your fellow members here.
I know it could be a big change but feel that keeping motoring separate from "general chat" heads means that the motoring threads will have content and not just "get a saxo" quick replies slapped in.
The removal of the post count should also stop the amount of "spam" in the general chat too.
Anyway,
Rate/Slate
Discuss.

Liking it. Also noticed a lot of non-general in general lately.

Then I fooked it up by posting my crash thread in General. Being picky, should be in Saxo Problems I guess.
Nah, Gen was right, would have sat nicely in the Motoring Section though.

I don't like forums that use it like that to be honest, looks cluttered lol.
I'm sure they have thought about it in the past though.

Except £7.50 cheaper.
My inspiration actually came from the zetec S owners brigade.
Their General Chat is full of pap.
Where as the motoring is full of genuinely thought provoking conversation.

Im not asking for a section for every subject.
Just that now the Saxo detail sections have been promoting, we don't have a general area for "non-shit-spam" threads that actually want answers.
Techy questions in General chat sink to the bottom unanswered.

I think that would be best and keep General Chat to general day to day shizzle.
