im with mizzybizzywizzy tbh.
as said before dan has come up with a complete solution, a spam area, could have one thread in whatever section, doesnt add to post count and can be deleted at the end of each day. what is stopping this happening? its not as easy as 'going on msn' as not everyone has the privileges of msn at work.
the only reason spam happens is because certain individuals on the site are comfortable enough with each other to endulge in a bit of banter. i dont see what the harm is in doing so tbh?

I agree, its stuff like daily chat, working week and all. Like what people have for lunch what they are doing and that, good to talk at work you know

Mizzy doesnt even know why this thread was started the other day and yes it was related to some pathetic bullying and its not the first time its been put down to the "its the internet get over it". As i have said before it might be banter for you and you comfortable friends but for the person on the receiveing end who is not part of the group its hardly banter.
It is as easy as going on MSN, if you dont have it go elsewhere theres a million forums where you can call each other names and swear and talk rubbish.
AS above why should 99% of the forum have to put up with an area where you can spend all day saying FTW and insulting each other? Maybe a dose of gowing up would sort out most of the offenders on the forum.
A spam area will not exist.

i dont know of any particular examples of where people have been bullied so i cant comment on that, as ive personally never seen someone victimised to the extent where they cant take it as a joke and take it personally.

having a seperate spam section isnt exactly making people 'put up' with our spam is it. infact its the complete opposite lol. it wont be homepage material will it, would be one thread in the test section or whatever. dont want to see it or 'put up' with it, dont open the thread. simple isnt it?

Maybe being a mod and being on the forum so long.. you lost your sense of humour and fun or something?
Its fun to use in the day, look at saxos, post a question about how it went wrong and how to fix it etc
But its also cool to have a chat about random stuff, like the general chat section.
Dont see the big deal in having a spam section or even a daily spam thread or something

General chat is already there and ticks along quite nicely when the kids arent spamming the shit out of it. Thats the way it will remain, thats simple isnt it?

I think a spam section is a pontless idea..
General chat is for talking about most things etc, spam is just people talking bollocks.. Just pointless shite imo.

Perhaps one thread in the general chat area could be a general 'how's the day, spam etc' thread. This works well in many other forums and keeps the junk down to one thread only. Sometimes things do get deleted a tad quickly without giving a thread time to develop into fun or advice.
People are forgetting this is an area for communication. Just because it has a main car theme doesn't mean that friendships and 'banter' shouldn't evolve out of it.
Remember: a forum is only as good as it's members and light harted communication makes the forum stronger and more personal. It shouldn't be regimented to the point where users are unsure if there chat will accepted. That will just lead to less users and that's bad for all, regards of your reason for being here.

If people want to spam, why does it have to be on Saxperience? Why cant you use another forum to spam and talk bollocks? As Scott said its never been an issue before and recently its becoming more of an issue. Having a spam section/thread will not stop it happening in other sections as threads are always brought off topic by one imature member then the sheep follow suit and start posting bollocks.
As said I'm totally against it and feel if you need to spam find another forum to do it on. Why not fsc? Your all (or most are) members on there, why not put the suggestion to Damo.
Also being a mod certainly doesnt mean I have no sense of humour, just cant be arsed with imature silly posts and comments.

There are plenty of "other places" to spam up
I have been on one of these for a while now, but now that I am "parting company" the place could do with brightening up lol.
Go spam barryboys!

Why not register as premium members and use the pager system to share your banter, you can use it in a similar way to msn, but you can use it whilst your at work... that way it doesn't clog up the general chat...and isn't inflicted upon all forum members....
Just my 2 pence...

Personally a spam section would encourage the things we don't want on sax-p.
MSN, PAGER for premium, and any other forum could handle the spam people create.
sorry guys

would try and argue my point. but seems like mods have already made their minds up and no ones willing to take any input anyway tbh.
edit - and cheers to the imature fag who left negative rep cause i have my own opinion. well done big man.
