laptop for 350
hey there want a new laptop and my budget is 350 dont want anything speical can anybody recomend me something that will justify for browsing internet and watching videos online.
any help is much appreciated thankyou.

this seems like a bargain to me with 140 pounds knocked off what do you guys think?

Also would avoid advent. The HP you found is more than likley a decent laptop. Compaq can be good, mines reliable but their cases are fkin shit especially with an AMD cpu, overheats constantly. Not that great for video, copes with photoshop and dreamweaver well thats as far as ive pushed it tbf.

the one i have is advent and tbh cant say a bad word about the one i have its lasted me 5 years and was only 300 when i got it since then its had aot of abuse and still going... just

Should have mentioned the same thing as db_sax, my HP with a amd dual core runs sooo hot, runs at 60C idle haha.

My acer laptop has been great, my friends on the other hand has not.
I think its a bit hit and miss, as with most manufacturers tbh.
My girl friends brothers Acer has lasted for over 5 years with near every day use!

Acer have come out on top on quite a few tests against 4/5 other leading manufactuers.

go on pcworld and get a refurbished on, still get warrenty but laptop is alot cheaper i got mine for 420 and its way above average spec
