"Safest"Way to wash car without hose/pressure washer
Bit of a random question but what do you reckon is the best way to clean my car tommorrow without using my pressure washer or hose pipe because my dad broke it. I want to do it the safest way without creating scratches or swirlmarks?
Cheers

Watering can? Or take all of your cleaning gear to the petrol station and use the jet wash. Not the brush!

Throw a few buckets of warm water at it.. Regarding it isn't caked in dirt/grit. TBM.

lots of people use the 2 buckett method and a wooly mit gives betta protection as u rinse the mit before u put it back on the car again!

A new Sponge can do as much damage as an old sponge. It just takes 1 small piece of sharp grit to come between the sponge and the bodywork to cause a nice long scratch.

I dont have sponges so that wont be a problem, only microfibre cloths.

Yo fool, Its filthy alex, done over 1000 miles this week, its actually turned a browny grey colour. Also the paint is buggered already without adding more swirls, I just need to get it clean so I can start to correct it.

Don't use a Cloth, can still push grit around easier than a Mitt and can cause those scratches.

probably safest with the two bucket method mate, just make sure you give the mitt a good rinse and change the rinsing bucket after youve done half the car

wet the car down with the watering can use the 2 bucket method washing with either 2 mits or like this roof>bonnet>sidewindows> upper sides and arches then lower sides then front and read bumpers then your wheels should help without scratches
hope it helps!

Thats what i'd do, petrol station jet wash, just use the rinse, and your cleaning gear, wont be great, cause you'll be in a rush, but should look better.

maybe im a caveman lol but a throw a couple of buckets of water over the vtr to get rid of the worst of the muck then i finish with the soapy water working from the roof downwards !! if the sponge gets dirty i give it a good wash off indoors !! . dry the car off then if i can be bothered polish it .. job done
