Powerflow custom exhausts?
Went down to my powerflow dealer today to get a quote, he had a look and he said that he reccomended a 4inch oval that would fit dead snug! Asked what sort of exhaust sound i was after and i was stumped lol! So i just said kinda loud but not too loud lol, what should i say?
But yeah he said i could get it booked in next week and and for everything £155 which isnt bad + life time guarentee, what do you guys think about powerflow?
Thanks

I think they are shit. They are a franchise and so you can either get utterly shit work, or ok work depending on which dealer it is.
You pays your money you makes your choices

just dont!
i would rather a standard exhaust, they are crap, materials are poor quality, the workmanship is FUCKING dire i could do better in my shed.
I cant stress how shit they are, also the lifetime warranty is bollox and they always find away to get around it.
So just by a proper one, ie. supersprint, magnex etc etc
as ryan said they are a franchise, but the 2 near me, and the other custom exhaust place are all pap. Yes you might have a good one. They all very good at selling it to you, so just ingore them. The power gains are bollox, been proven to worsen the performance of some cars. The work is always done by a 17 year old that has been on like a 1 day zorst course.

There shite for many reasons.
-Being francised they want to make money so cut corners. for example theyll cut your centre section to make it easier to fit there back box but it means you cna refit the oem back box.
-They can use two grades of steel, they generally use the cheaper due to being easier to weld/bend.
-there generally designed to be loud as fook under 3k revs and rasberry over, so you can look cool crusing around town or sitting in maccy d's.
I could go on but relly cba there utter shit end of...
Matt.

I have to agree that they can be a bit shit. I got a custom exhaust done on my Audi and would have been better off with a Milltek in the end.
They put the pipe inside the cat pipe so it was a smaller diameter, then one of the hangers fell off and in the end most of the sound deadening went in the back box so I would just stick to a tested brand mate.
The warranty are toilet paper mate as a lot of them do not cover changing from the standard tune of the car and have a daft cleaning / service check policy.
I was a bit gutted in the end as I had 3 journeys and should have got a Milltek.

Like above, sometimes can be good, but msot of the time shite from what i have heard / seen.
Would just buy a Magnex, Piper, SS, Sportex etc and fit it yourself

We dont copy, its just that these things have been tried and tested and the people who know what there going on about EG - Ryan, Alexvts, Williamsvts
etc now whats good and whats bad.
I would rather listen to them, who experiment with these things in the real world, and give honest information, than an advert in the back of MAX POWER by a company who are just trying to make money.

the reason why we all have magnex, piper, super sprint etc is for performance. having 2 4 inch exits will reduce your exhaust back pressure far too much thus bogging your car down.
it depends what your wanting to build your car for. if your after a show car then fair enough but if your building a track slag etc and you think your gaining power by 2 4 inch exhausts then your mistaken im afraid
