Cheers Sandy and lads - I am on it alright!

Few update today, Bob sent me a picture of more amazing work on the rear loom. Car is due back tomorrow so I will put up loads of photo's then with all the new stuff fitted - i'm excited, if a little overcast by the thought of my job situation but ho hum...

Anyway here's the old pic of the snake that was there before (no offence Hank as you did better than I could've done with it!):

Bob stripped out all this:

And this is what's left to go in:

That's all for now - i'll put up tons of pics when she's home tomorrow - god I can't wait!

Cheers Rush!

Right, big update tonight - she came today!!! I am over the moon with it, really looks the business in the flesh. I'm happy with the ride height too it's actually spot on so that's a bonus too. The wiring is amazing and the STACK dash is great, not only does it look sexual but it has about a million different settings with which to monitor the engine. Really pleased I went with it now. So glad to have it back it really does make all the hassle worthwhile. It still doesn't have an exhaust but I started her up none the less and reversed it back to the garage area - all I can say is good god it's a savage machine and it will fly when I get to drive it! Feels super tight and precise. Clutch bite is awesome, and the brakes feel good too. And it revs like ANYTHING, really quick it's nuts! Here are the pics anyway. I applied a few of the graphics today but ran out of daylight to do them all (it was freezing too!). Also swapped a few of the big cable ties for smaller one's which look neater so in the pics if there's some missing it's due to that. Also took the pistonheads sticker off the the Rallye reg one's as I want it to look neutral and standard in terms of the graphics. Pics don't do it justice though it's stunning in the flesh - really happy with it. May need to remove the inner arches too as it rubs on lock now she's lower - must be those big tyres.

Here are the pics anyway:

STACK dash:

Applying the Rallye decals:

Before:

After:

During:

I know this one is a little high in the pic but I didn't stick it on yet - I had ponk send me a pic (cheers dude) so it sits on the line of the bodywork as it should now, just don't have a pic of that!

Interior Loom - the back set rail is too low to fit anything under it so we had to go over the top - still a lot more minimal and neat though, and all the wiring to the rear lights is all hidden now too, sweet:

Tidied up with some smaller cable ties:

Here's the carbon alarm sensor holder I made (this is when I drilled up and dinked the roof too - doh!) Need to sort that when I get a job again:

And some exterior shots:

My favourite pic - looks so mean!

Engine:

Fuel pressure sensor for the STACK:

And tucked up in bed - where it'll stay for a while until I get a job and some money to complete!

Thanks for looking! Woo it's home!

Looks truely awesome! The paint under the bonnet and on the wingtops it better than the exterior of most cars! The loom is super neat. Wasn't going to touch the electrics in mine but may have to condsider minimising it slightly as it looks so much neater.

Top work

Its been said so so many times. But this is easily the best 106 Ive laid my eyes on. Bic's Maxi has an amazing spec.

But thats falls into a different category.

Love it Lewis, job seriously well done.

It's actually too clean. So much so, you're tearing the hearts out of other French car owners. lol

have you changed the ride height? It's look spot on those pics, whereas before it looked high at the front. Good stuff either way!

Loom work in mental. So tidy...

When you start driving it and the engine bay starts to get dirty, what are you going to do? Hehe.

{goes off to mug some people to raise funds for 'Stack Dash'}

cheer lads - I am stoked with it alright. Hopefully if I can get my job situation sorted asap i'll have the exhaust done in time for the summer. COme hell or high water I want to drive it soon - that little taster yesterday almost made me do a sex wee in it! It already has a little bit of turd in the bay from where Bob has been road testing it - it's a fact that it will get dirty (sadly) but i'll just have to try and keep it as clean as possible! It has to get used so that's just the way it is I guess

Toad - I think it looked higher in the pic Bob took due to lens distortion, as it actually sits quite low in the flesh - cameras can be deceptive that way sometimes...
