Looking really clean again lol, i've just got a spax 40mm kit as well, how much will you be going down at the back? And just wondering what's the best thing to polish up the cam covers? Just degrease them and then with autosol or something?
Cheers!

Thanks mate,
To polish them up and get a decent result your going to need a machine polisher/buffer tbh
I started out with just cleaning them up as much as possible with a degreaser, sanding them down to get a smooth finish, polishing them up with autosol but its just not going to happen lol..
So i used a bench and a wheel to get as much shite off as possible, sanded them down further and used a 4" spot pad on my g220 laced in autosol, they are still not how i want them tbh
Front cover is great but there are lots of marks in the metal on the second cover so il be fine sanding that down further and polishing up with the g220 again.

o right sounds like it's quite a bit of work to get them looking mint. I'm definately going to give it a go though mine look terrible!
How much will you be lowering the rear by? same as the front or lower?

Hiya bud, i really love what you have done with your engine bay looks, really smart. Can you give me some info on the induction kit "whats it called" "who makes it" "where you got it from" "and if the performance is any better"
Cheers

Its effort but when you get the results its great
Car will be even stevens, unless it looks a little odd in which the rear will go slightly lower but i cant see that lol

Same car really, forget the stigma attatched to Sax0s.
You will get a much better VTS for 2k then you would a GTI + the GTI will be older, more miles ect.

Update cars lowered/tracked and tires fitted/balanced
It was too wet to get decent shots but meh have tomorrow for that.. As for cleaning doubt thats going to happen.
Its lower on level ground but i have a slope-ing drive and i couldn't be asked to move it on to the road for pics lol
Might get some spacers in the near future.
Comments welcome
