Because I know that the speedo's in saxo's are not accurate enough, I tried this with my old vtr and it shows up as 7 seconds which I know is bullshit. You need accurate timing equipment to time it, and this would also make your 1.4 in the vts 0-60 area because they are late into the 7 seconds to get too 60 and I am sure everybody in the 'know how' would agree

Rubbish, there wont be much speedo error at 60mph, even if its a two mph difference we are only talking about [2/60]*8= 0.26 of a second. And don't forget that this was the very first attempt. Undoubtedly I could get it lower with practise.
You are one of those who believe what they want to even if the evidence is presented in front of them.

Everything is standard, although its had a new head where I'm not sure where it came from, I bought for £15 with a free mountain bike. 165/70 r13 tyres, no limiter. I find max torque is around 4200rpm and upshift before 5000rpm, so can't see how a rev limiter comes into it.

not me making a fool of myself you're the one that is thinking a more or less standard 1.4 can get to 60 in 8 seconds. not going to keep repeating myself it is only the truth but you are the stereotypical saxo owner that thinks they are the fasted car about with all this bullshit figures. I am the second member on here to tell you that 0-60 needs to be measured with proper equipment.

I can spell Rallye but choose to spell it the other way. Lowering on Saxo type cars looks 5hite, makes them worse handling and vulnerable to speed bumps, pot holes. Lowering CofG might be a slight advantage on a racetrack but the drivers one here couldnt utilise it anyway.

You clearly don't have a clue what you are talking about, if it was a waste of time why do companys such as gmc, atspeed racing ect offer the service of lowering? why do companys such as bilstein, spax and apex act develop products? and one last question have you seen sexy_gt's driving? he makes plenty of use out of a lowered saxo

See what I mean about refusing the evidence? Mobile phone clocks are accurate to 1/000's of a second a year, and video's are digitally time marked to the same degree of accuracy. You cant alter them and they are admissable in court as evidence. Thats why the guy on Utube filming his clocks at 165mph got dun.
My car does that [no not 165], I have finely tuned it over the years, tried different sensors, its got a different lambda on it, good quality standard exhaust, the right spark plugs, removed imperfections from the manis, etc. All this induction kit rubbish is a waste of time, and low profile extra big wheels are useless, create drag and cause the ball joints to fail prematurely.

Garbage. Companies will produce anything that customers want to buy. Even if it something silly like lowering. And you put 'roll cages' in em, what WTF is that all about? You are more likely to bang your head in a roll if a cage is installed, than if the roof absorbs some of the energy.
No Ive not seen him but I would have him on any real road with bumps and turns.

you are not listening to what me and blackie where saying. standard clocks on a saxo are rubbish! everybody on here would agree, how do you know you are accurate at getting the starting and finished time accurate also? you could be late or early by half a second. you wont get any extra power from doing that to you'r car, you might get it back to factory spec but it is obvious you don't know what you are talking about.
