Small list of things I'm going to do first is to:
Replace the green cotton air filter with a BMC cda
New wipers
Maybe a show cage in the back
Change the engine bay colours
And there will be alot more to come but that's what I would like to make a priority.

Couldn't really say mate as it was already on the car when I got it last weekend.
I'm taking mine off and going to replace it with a BMC CDA.

Dont think it would go on mine.
Got 3 options really either:
Get a bonnet bra and leave it
Have it sprayed in gloss black
Or have it sprayed in original colour

I would get it sprayed in the original colour but then again I don't like black stuff on the bonnet, bra or paint lol

Well had a little oil leak so got that sorted today by my mechanic was just the seal so nothing major just a common fault, just a pain in arse when your dripping a lil oil where ever you park.
Also had 1 or 2 loose spark plugs but thats all good now.
Also had the car MOT,D today and as the car has been de catted i gave my mechanic the cat that i was given when i purchased the car and it was too short so didnt fit, so he MOT,D it anyway and it failed on
Emmisions obviously
Steering rack needs replacing
Couple of bulbs need sorting
And rear brake pads
So nothing major all will be ready tomorow for picking up and will also have a fresh 12 months MOT aswell then i can start getting the car upto how i would like it.

The 106owners chairman had a colbalt blue gti
Its his on the home page with the morettes, speeline chrono's, it was nice and his blog is worth a read as it had a load of work done to it over a short space of time.
If fact seems you are from Doncaster you may have even seen it about as he was from that way on when he had it.

Little update:
Picking the car up Tomorow from my mechanic as it's just been MOT,D then I'm having all the engine bay covers and strut re sprayed by Mark off here, in cobalt blue, same colour as the car.
Pictures will be up once there done and back on the car.

Well a bit peed off today.
Phoned my mechanic up at 5:00 at work after not hearing from him and he told me the car was ready and has now been MOT,D.
That's the good news so now the bad news:
The standard cat was too short so after my mechanic ordered a pipe for it to put it on for MOT it failed on emissions again cos the standard cat was knackered so he went and bought a cat and told me it cost £120.00 and then passed the MOT.
£120.00 for a cat that only gets put on once every 12 months for MOT is an outrage can't believe it.
Moan over.
