I have noticed in some posts people are complaining of recieving bad rep from unkonown people without reasons, likewise I feel that the good rep points are abused.... I have 6 positive comments but only 1 bar of rep.... where I see others with huge rep but from what I can see contribute very little of any significance, but seem to be friends with everyone... this gives the impression that they are only recieving rep from friends.... much like post whores who compete to have the highest post count but end up mostly of "hi and welcome" in posts in newbies lol.... the post count has been removed on several of the websites I frequent for this reason... I think rep is a good thing don't get me wrong but I think that reasons for good or bad rep should be mandatory! and I feel these comments should be made available for others to see!... like if someone has a load of "nice car" comments or "great joke" then people should be aware of why this person has such a good or bad rep, because if there were no comments in someones rep but all were bad then I would come to the conclusion that it was a malicous attempt to discredit someone and should be dealt with

I get more bad rep than I do good rep........Not going to change the way I post either for a little green bar in all honesty.

2 of my bad reps are for posts that hold no offence at all and I dont quite understand why the person sent me bad rep.

I do agree when you say certain group of people give each other rep all the time which is sad but I dont have proof to prove this.

Anyways dont read too much into it mate.......If your social skills are good down the pub why bother what people think of you on the internet

the rep situation is really not a problem. Rep is checked an awful lot and useless ones removed when we see them. If anyone has a complaint about rep let me know and i can check it out. Serial offenders are very easily dealt with as one user on here knows only to well

i get bad things for sayin stuff, i dont change the way i am, but sometimes there is no point in it at all...

altho i do feel that i add a bit to the site helping people, but i do get quite a bit from people saying i made them laugh, i give it out if someones helped me, sometimes they help me off the site i will give them rep on the site
