Trackday races highlight just how fucking retarded the AI is. Braking mid-corner for no apparent reason, and if you're on the line they're wanting to be on, they just drive into you. Cunts.

I put it on easy the other day in a race as well and couldn't believe the AI gets even more retarded. Brake super early and hard as well.

Normally race on hard. Only use braking line with clutch on, still finding it easy at times.

That's why I put it upto hard as I was getting 20+ second gaps.
On hard its closer now with around 6-8 secs gaps in very low classes but I'm struggling to keep a 1-2 sec gap with the r1's and more inportanly the pair of 908's

Just be consistent in the races, found once I got in 1st, just ignored them and I seemed to pull away.

Using braking lines would help a lot, I'm not however a faggot so don't use them
I haven't driven r1 on 4 much, finding I'm using the same braking points as I would for lower classes and getting smashed up the back by those fucking 908's

I used hard until recently, now use pro. Unless i'm in a car that's not near the top of the class, because then I struggle like fuck to catch all the AI cars that are at the top of the class and get annoyed.
Only assist is ABS, unless i'm in an R2/R1 car, where I use TCS, got fed up of spinning constantly.

Says the guy with mullet. . .
You tuning your cars? Found that a half decent tune will improve the car a lot.

I haven't but I'm still on a fair bit just not as much. Ill try and join in if i see you lot online.
You win money for races anyway I thought? I don.t think it really needed to go to 999 Apparently theres a big step in that somewhere aswell so you will hit say 500 and barely level up atall.
