I just need to learn when it gives up grip so I look less of a knob when I put my foot down.

Very tidy though. You say there's no plans, but we all know that will change We've both joined the JDM import crew now then Even if mine is a bit gay
|
Aye I did a good job of not shouting about it. lol
It's interesting seeing the people that don't like the aero bumper. You're all wrong
Might be gay but I like MX5s! Especially when you get nice wide wheels on the back! Preferably Rota Grids like Tom has got on his.

I forgot you had an MXhomo!! Did you do much drifting in it?
Grass is the only way you can drift an Evo really. lol. Doughnuts will be easy in it though I assume?

I'm ordering my Grid V's tomorrow Bronze too. Although i'm going for 7j, not 8. I want to keep it usable. But they still look awesome with 7j, i've done my research.
On the topic of s15's, my mate has got a silver/gunmetal-ish coloured one. Uses it for drifting, it's unreal how he spent so much on a car to learn drifting in lol. And he can drift properly now as well. But he doesn't boast about it. Top lad, top car.

I love how sleek these look de-spoilered.
Very nice car Mr Viper, much better than the Fiesta, plus if it drives anything like an S14a then skidding will be ridiculously easy

I'd love to be able to properly drift it but don't have anywhere to practice it enough to learn properly.
Bronze alloys are the only colour to have on those MX5s! I'ma watch your thread to see how awesome it looks with them on

Hope you have as much fun in yours as I had in my s14 mate. Amazing cars but like to bite back. Get the centre strut removed from the spoiler before you have it fitted looks so much cleaner.

Get some spare wheels and head to a DWYB day, best way to learn IMO.
No risk of getting some trouble from the police that way, although I found they tend to enjoy seeing a nice controlled skid on an empty roundabout..

Sooooo wrong as per usual Gay guy... Evo's drift well mate, just gotta have balls, its not a straight 50/50 split with the power, set it on gravel and away you go haha
Regards to the mx5, I drifted it to the point where I started to drift it in the dry all the time, 3 sets of tyres in 5 weeks haha

I'm very reluctant to go playing in it on a track. I'm paranoid about damaging the bumper. Could be tempted to get hold of a standard one and put that on for it though.
Also I want to have a go on a large open area before going on a track. Less stuff to hit when I get it wrong!

Oh yeah I would be too, but I'm sure at places like Santa Pod etc they have massive open spaces? Not too sure tbh.
But I'd be the same as you, I wouldn't want any marks on any of it. I'm the same with mine and it's only a standard CTR haha

Go see the lads at K-T-C ( keighley trade centre) They use to import about 50 s14's and the odd s15 a year they don't import full cars so much any more but can pretty much get any parts you want for them shipped from japan. Good lads but you have to haggle with them.

Pod or Teesside are probably your best bet for doing skids. Pod's a massive long drive, but Teesside's a karting track, nowt to hit really though unless you go retard spec wrong, apart from a few cones.
Or Crail, if you wanna go t'other way.

Hmm, there isn't actually that much room at Teesside from what I've heard! Also it's amazing the damage a cone can do. Lol
I would never to a drift day as my first time. Although I'm not going to learn it on the roads either. I'll come up with something. Lol
Where's Crail Drew? Cba to look on a map. I only know the main places in Scroteland.
