Purchase Update!

Received my replacement siren for my Clifford alarm!
Its a clifford 514C soft-chirp siren

Was abit worried it was going to be too quiet with it being a 'soft chirp' alarm .... So I trial fitted it! It sounds awesome! very pleased with it.

Also digged out a quickshift I bought on eBay a while ago...
A Griffith quickshift.

Still awaiting delivery on loads more parts... I need to stop buying and start fitting!

this is so cool. I've got a K plate cherry red 1.0 and a mauritius saxo, tempted to keep the peugeot as its mint!

Looks like you've got a few bits and bobs to fit now.

Just double check the fan is set up correctly to be most efficient like i was told when fitting mine.

I think i may look into the jp4 covers for my xsi - i'm sure you will get pics up once fitted

UPDATE TIME

Ok so today was quite a busy day!

- Replaced the tatty J4 covers with JP4 covers
A very nice upgrade, look more modern too!

- I also removed the ECU tray to paint

-I then noticed the arch under the ECU had been welded up properly and sealed.
But I didn't like the black colour so I covered it in a ick of red hammerite paint

- I also purchased a replacement bonnet as my current one has dents in it and bad paint failing in the corners.
Luckily, I come across a bonnet on Facebook in the same colour I'm chuffed with it

(Bad) pics from today.......

JP4 covers

Old covers off...

New covers on ....

Painted the arch in hammerite that had been welded up:

Before, properly welded and sealed:

After:

New bonnet purchased, more or less perfect condition:

Current bonnet condition:

Paint/ lacquer fading... (Looks worse in person)

Dented corner:

Next plans:

- fit Uprated gear linkages
- fit Compbrake and griffiths quick shifts
- fit rear Bilstein B8s
- find a 4-2-1 manifold
- wire slimline fan in
... Still loads more to add to the list!

Will update as and when

Still awaiting delivery on loads more parts hurry up postman!
Enjoy!

I just went and checked. I lobbed off the original plug going to the old fan. And just soldered onto the new wires. I suppose you could put plugs on either end incase you need to remove in the future.

Update:

Received some group N gear linkages today!
Thanks to Joe Hindle for these

And also, thanks to the girlfriend , I will be able to keep her nice and clean wth this autoglym kit

Didn't really do much with the car today...

- took bumper off to repair
- fitted ECU tray back

Will try get some more jobs done over the next week or 2

To do list for the next few weeks:

- source a 4-2-1 manifold
- source an oil catch tank
- sort out air intake
- maybe relocate battery to boot area
- then look out for a pugsport exhaust system

This list could go on and on ....
