She does and I dont think there would be a great deal in it but the CTR would probably have the edge but once your past 60 the saxo has had it.
The CTR is a thousand times better than the Saxo though regardless of this 0-60 rubbish.

Well it may be a 0-60 thread, but you all covered some answers I was going to ask anyway.
The car in question (CTR) is this beast, granted this may not be mine, nore another like it untill I can afford it, but after reading most of the thread, I think it would be worth the wait??:

I'd have one of those over a saxo any and every day of the week, despite the vts being a supercar slayer. Go for it danny, you'd be silly not to

another good thing is they are soo reliable.. you could rev them out all day long to 8500 rpm with no oil in the engine and would run sweet..(slight exaggeration)
Also my bro's 04 model wont let you rev it anymore than 5000 rpm in neutral and wont let the VTEC kick in until its warmed up.. very good cars!

Thats what I was thinking. £3500 for a VTS. Or double that, and get a car that will last me longer, hold its value more and be much more fun/comfortable to drive/own! Also you get big brakes, air conn, bucket seats, a tonne of suspension stuff already done and with it being a fresh import, not rust etc. And they get looked after!
Can't fault my mate for getting me hooked though!

VTEC can bite a turbos low/mid range grunt til the cows come home. Needing to thrash the car to get it moving is going to be great for day to day driving
Plenty of better alternatives to the CTR that actually handle as well.
As for the saxo vs ctr arguement, might as well compare an old mini and a focus ST. Two VERY different cars in every possible way.

thats the only thing that puts me off them, the fact that you have to screw the nuts off it to get it too go, but when it goes its awesome lol
my mates sounds lush when its floored lol
i carnt touch him in the vts, all he has on his ctr is a filter
the vts has 120bhp and the ctr has 197bhp??
the weight difference is not that massivly different, hence the reason the ctr will always pull away.
not sure what a cammed vts would be like against one lol have a feeling that would be fun
