blackfire is good stuff.
I find it good to put on in the evening (any time you wont be driving the car for several hours) and leave it over night then buff it off in the morning. This stops it going all over the car and produces a good finsih

I use all the AutoGlym stuff at work cant knock any of it, tyre slick (or rubber cleaner as its called) is great and lasts a while
and if youve got black plastics which are looking a bill faded and grey, try a bit of the rubber cleaner on em, i do it and it works wonders

I use Meguiar’s Hot Shine Tyre Dressing Spray, just spray it on and it last's for weeks, work good with black alloys just give them a spray aswell and shines for ages also the brake dust and crap will just fall straight off when you clean them.
Try and not get it on your brake disks though.

can you take the whole wheel off with back to black or something like that - and do the tread and everything? Never actually known if you can lol. Mine just looks stupid if i do just the tire wall as it says on most things.

if you do the tread, your wheels will spin really easy, so its advised not too (e.g. have barely any - no grip )
hope thats helps
Martin.

ok, what do other people use to get them shiny black all over. I have seen alloys for sale, and like new tyres with a very shiny gloss finish?

Just clean the tyres with water. Scrub them down if you have to. Then do the walls with tyre gel. Thats what i do if i am bothered.
