laptop mouse pad
hi everyone
me mates laptop mouse pad isnt working all of a sudden was working fine yesterday just today its taking the piss anyone know why ?

Mine is a dell, and it's intermittment as well, doesn't work well sometimes.

i work in the Acer repair centre. If it's an acer machine hold down Fn and tap F7 one. This function turns the touchpad on and off. Other manufacturers will have a similar switch for it.
If not try reinstalling the drivers for the touchpad. Hope this helps

turn it off, turn it on
hit it with a hammer, and then do what i did with my old laptop... unscrew a panel, and jam the screwdriver in there, then send it off for repair :d
