Find me a proxy
I need some proxies to try for use on websense.......... doing my nut. No facebook, no games, no youtube, nothing.
Anyone know any proxy sites i can try? i expect most if not all will be blocked anyway but worth a shot!

Here's an idea, we had websense at school and to get around it (and everything was UNBLOCKED, we used firefox installed onto a flash drive. That way they cannot block the path from which the program is running. (Thats presuming you use Internet Explorer) This is due to the fact that FF uses different ports to IE and therefore, websense and the firewall don't pickup on its activity.
This is all presuming that the ports that Firefox uses havn't been closed on the firewall.
Give it a bash and see what happens....

When you went into connection settings, what option did you select?
- Direct connection to the internet
- Auto detect proxy settings for this network
- Manual Proxy configuration

so install firefox to c drive then copy the folder to a flash pen and run it off there?
Will try tomoz but doubt it will work!

I installed it straight to the flash drive. There's another version if I can find the installer that is designed to be installed on flash drives.

Won't work instantly but..
www.logmein.com your remotely use your own computer from home
www.yourfreedom.com, You have to install software on the blocked pc and its costs for it to be a fast connection.
Most website proxys are blocked because most IT departments firewalls or proxys get updated lists of sites to block.
