Default "Disk Failure" - new laptop

agot a new laptop the other week, its not a bad one and has everything i need on it. however, every no and again when i turn it on it comes up with "disk failure" error. does anyone know how to fix this?

Do you have a floppy disk in?

If not, its a faulty hard disk. You will need to take it back and either get it repaired or get a replacement

Ive seen this error with laptops that have taken a knock and just need there hard drives reseated again its worth a quick look

hard drive mate. ring up the place you got it from and tell them. they should replace it

i remember my mate had a problem like this and he was pissed he dropped the laptop by accident and thought his fcuked it now but nothing happened and it cured his error messages lol (please dont try this as something might happen to urs and i dont wanna hold thee blame lol)
