need some help wiv this one lads
iv done a engine conversion from 97 vtr to 97 vts the problem i got is when i put my foot down it has a major hesitation as if there is no fuel and then all of a sudden it will pick up and go again and some times it will just cut out do you think it could be fuel related? it ticks over ok though and i dont know why but first gear seems a little short like its all revs and no power it dont seem that fast at all? cheers for any halp

My vts does exactly the same thing so doubt its because of the conversion because mine hasn't been converted. i'm currently trying to diagnose the problem but with little luck. anyone know anything about this problem?

does it hop and jump after just starting then after a while runs fairly normally,my vts did.Put it on a diagnostic and found throttle body was carboned.Fitted new throttle body, but the hops continued. The garage then found that the Lambda top was missing.Put a new Lambda on and it runs perfectly now.The throttle body came with a new stepper motor.
