ohh, weddings, you want the 80's 90's and naughties then. Remixes are ok as long as they're not too heavy!

If I'm honest, if you have to ask that you shouldn't be DJing.

^^^ Beat me to it.

It's your job to find the music. For weddings, bride and groom set the playlist and tell what they like.

I was a pro dj for 13 years. I never once had to ask what I should be playing because I was a bit "rusty"

You shouldn't really need to ask, if so then as Craig said you shouldn't really be doing it. If your doing a 18th your not going to play stuff from the 60s are you? If there all middle aged then you know you can play some older songs from the 70s / 80s. You need to play a variety of songs from different eras if it's a wedding with different aged people. Judge what songs you play on the age of the crowd / audience and just get a good mixture of genres aswell.

Although I agree with most of the comments above, i will give a hand.

I think for those kind of gigs you would have to go for the cheeze factor. If you play anything clubbish or underground you are just going to alienate your customers and then not get recommended.

But if you want to be a club DJ again, screw your customers and play what you think is good.
