Am I the only geek who has got this and has been waiting forever for it? Not many PC gamers out there I take it? Anyone who has got it, opinions?

Ooh ooh. I've not got it yet, as I'm still customising my new PC, but I really want it. Is it as good as what you thought?

its an EPIC game! played a few 1v1's and compleated the campaign on hard already.. going to take a while to get used to however online.. i get owned too much.. back to wow and WC3 i thinks

Ergh, I could never get used to the food cap on WC3, too much micro involved...
SC2 is as Kevin correctly said, EPIC. I've not played online yet, but when I upgrade my PC to run it comfortably and get my net sorted, I'll be hammering online play.
Seriously impressed so far.

Very similar, except you have to work within food caps and supply limits so the size of your army/resource collection is limited, and there are 2 resource types. C&C Generals Zero Hour is probably my second fav game, used to hammer that online as well, loved it! I wasn't half bad either, had a really good win/loss ratio, although I was still pretty noob compared to a pro, but I'd say I won every 3 out of 4 maybe 5 games.

i ended up downloading via blizzard as couldnt find anywhere selling it.
paid an extra tenner but oh my days its worth it.

My family couldn't understand my raving about it, and I said to them, and meant every word, that I would have paid £100 for this game without even knowing whether or not it would run or was actually any good. As it happens, I paid £40, and it doesn't run too bad, but I'm gonna buy a new pc just to play on this with it running at full spec.
