Transfer the files across? Surely you can, must be a guide on the web matey... otherwise save it to a memory stick, take out the old hard drive plug in the new one, transfer files from memory stick that way

i moved my xbox whilst it was on yesterday and its scratched the shit out of my GTA4 disc and now it wont play at all...
anyone got a copy for sale in decent nick? lol

its proper fooked it looks like someones been holding sandpaper to it and theres a big ring onj the disc. definately need another copy...
only got to play half an hour...

try polishing it with something like autoglym super resin polish or something similar.
worked on one of mine in what sounds like similar condition to yours...
