depends what you mean by sound good really, the put put put that you hear from people driving down the street that you can here a mile away or something that will actually make the sub work and give a broad spectrum.
if you want a quality test for a sub in music terms and not in a bass cd way then normally any sony recorded cd are quite well produced in terms of reproduction onto cd from origional recordings ( sounds odd but think george michael double cd for the feet and for the heart). (any micheal jackson cd) or the art of noise the seductionof claude debussey (used quite a lot in sq etsting by quite a few people)
just for annoying the neighbours etc then flat eric by mr oizo (old but still rumbles), a dj foamo mix, toddla t's fabric live 47 mix
are all good for that
