yeah this is a lot more solid and has better paintwork than that 1.0, just about everything on this is better apart from that 1.0 handled pretty good and the diesel engine makes non PAS hard at slow speeds lol, hopefully if the weather is good this year I'll come to bolton abbey and you can see for yourself lol
I'm going regardless should come, or two sheds can park next to each other .. No homo

Went to start the car from cold, alternator belt squeaked a bit then went silent, thought yay it's finally stopped squeaking, then drove down the road and noticed lights were dim, pulled back home and opened the bonnet to find this:

Great!
Had to miss work and can't go out and play in the snow
Getting a belt tomorrow for £7 and going to fit it, never fit one before but looks fairly simple, at least the new one won't squeak.

It passed it's MOT today!
Everything is fine on this car but to get it through the MOT I had to have copper brake lines fitted as the original ones were rotten, was impressed they had lasted to 139k!

Hopefully if this snow pisses off this week I'm going to give it a quick clean and put the 205 wheels on take some good pictures and see what it looks like and see what else I can do cosmetically to clean it up.

ClioSport were doing a run up to Hartside today, weather was OK so I threw the 205 wheels on and went up, handled quite well but was hard to keep up sometimes, the VTR brakes were really good.

Here is a few pics, tell me what you think of the wheels:

At first me and Tom weren't sure about the ride height on the rear but now as the front has settled I think the height is perfect! Also the wheels don't catch on the rear but I noticed when I go over dips in the road at speed it does catch a little bit.

Once it's cleaned up I think it will look quite good.

Right some more update, I had asked around if anyone had a VTS interior, I then decided against it since I didn't want to spend more money on it but the seats were very very uncomfortable felt like sitting on deck chairs.

So today a guy local to me had one, went round bought the VTS Interior and also took a steering wheel for £40, I needed a wheel since mine was ruined, it needed that horrible cover on it otherwise your hands went black and it used to slide around making it dangerous.

New wheel feels like I have a better grip on the steering and the seats are really nice,
pics are a bit poo since I did the work in the pitch black (cause im git hardcore) no point taking pictures in the day, everyone knows what a vts interior looks like lol

Thanks for looking.

Lol I agree Joe doesn't need a diesel when you got a 1.1.

I get around 620 miles to a tank my brother gets 500 in his 1.0 but petrol is a bit cheaper so ends up a small difference.
