Default Upgrading weight bench/equiptment

At the moment i've simply got a york bench with no other attachments. The only things I can really do on it is seated presses, bench press, incline press and flys.

So i'm after something slightly more versatile, mainly wanting to be able to do squats at home.

Is something like this good value?

I would take the flys attachment off as I prefer to them with free weights. But this will enable me to do squats and some leg exercises.

I know there are probably better sites than argos, but after a brief search this one seemed the best value.

To be honest the attachments such as the leg press and fly machines arn't usually any good and very flimsy. Your probably better of sticking with the bench you got like you have said to do those exercises free weight.

As for the squats, depending on where your weights are located, you can quite easily make your own. When I started of working out in my garage my step father bought the huge reinforced brackets and mounted them into our garage wall which is made of reinforced concrete. I was able to simply use my bench bar on there and I had a squat rack.

3 months later I bought a gym membership and never turned back.

I've found a cheap second hand york bench on ebay for £40, so i'm going to get that to replace mine as mine is on it's last legs to be honest.

Then i'm going to purchase something similar to below for squats. I did have the bracket on wall idea but my room is completely dry lined so it wouldn't hold.

That looks good for the money to be fair.
