Does anyone know if I can put the back off a meshed grille off ebay (without badge) onto my standard grille after i took the back off, as i bought one off ebay with out the badge and I decided i liked my colour coded one with the badge but want the mesh.

guy starting mine tonight got mesh resin paper primer paint lacquer
my vtr is iclandic gray i got crome mesh, am colour codeing grill but dont know if i should leave chevrons crome or paint them black ??? what you think
my headlights are standered atm but might smoke or colour code them later on
NEED OPINIONS QUICK GUYS
