Hey what do you think of this sub (ebay)
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=120396826472
What do you think of this for a deal, i know JL are supposed to be the shit but what should i be expecting out of it compared to what i have now and how much is it actually worth do you think. at the moment i have a vibe cbr active 12 which is 1600 watt.
Thanks

1600 is a max figure im assuming
and as he hasnt stated what amp is powering, then we dont know how much true power is being recieved by the subs
JL audio arent to my taste due to the generally low power figures, having said this, the subs will take 300wrms!
JL are all about SQ though, however id rather go for something else personally

my single vibe cbr is 550wrms so what saxovtrstevie has (which is 2 of the same subs i have) is simply 2*550rms so is total of 1100 rms.
the amp is a vibe monoblock 300-400wrms, but i think your right i should just stick with the vibes, i like how loud they are really not sure if i would choose something with that much less bass even if it does sound clearer

he said 1100wrms each sub. that figure is truly laughable.
as for the set up you have if you are happy with it stick by it.
