neon boot light
will have a kinda boot build soon, but wanna put a strip of light on the rear seat in the boot to come on when boot is open, how do i wire it up? what do i need and is it easy? not really that goot at electrics but if its easy enough will give it a go.

only a guess, soz. id find the origional boot light and just wire the neon up to that. probably very wrong but hey! :/

ive done it, i used some spade connectors to slide over the boot light plug...iirc.

ye its easy, you just unplug the light, then just put the two wires onto the wires you have just disconected, forgoten which is positive and negative, so if you just wire it up and if it doesnt work swap the wires round

Just unclip the bootlight switch, only two wires to it, permanent live and an earth simple

yeah sure, just use a flat blade or something to unclip the light and rereoute the wires going into it... although i wouldnt want a neon, ive wanted to make a pad of 10 or so white LEDs and use those would be much better than the pathetic factory light
